Following a request and a good hunt on the web, I received some Cuban raw coffee beans. Having never roasted, more expensive than average, Cuban beans and having them specifically requested by a fan of them, I feverously searched the web for a roast profile no matter how vague. Unfortunately my search turned up nothing so I decided to roast with my current profile.
These tricky little beans need watching throughout the roast as they seemed to develop slowly then go berserk just after first crack, speeding towards second crack at quite a rate. Great fun.
The hunt continues for affordable Yemen beans as i'm looking towards the Middle East, home of the coffee drink.
